The meeting between the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the African Union- Scientific, Technical and Research Commission (AU-STRC) took place from 5th – 6th April 2018 was aimed to ensure the success of the India Africa Health Sciences partnership with the objective to develop a preliminary action plan that is to address the three priority areas which include: Health Training and Capacity Building; Health Sciences Research; and Pharmaceutical Trade and Manufacturing.
