Fifteen (15) Member State delegation from the African Diplomatic Group – Abuja Chaired by H.E. General Alfred Nelson William The High Commissioner of Sierra Leone graced the meeting on Accelerating Africa to a Knowledge Based and Innovation led Economy Focusing on AU-STRC Activities and Emerging Technologies. The delegation which was made up of Ambassadors and Representatives of: Burundi; Central African Republic; D. R Congo;Congo; Cote d’Ivoire; Equatorial Guinea; Guinea; Kenya; Niger; Nigeria; Sierra Leone; South Sudan; Sudan; Togo and Uganda emphasized on the need to move Africa into a new era of possibilities within the realms of science, technology and innovation.
